What is an AMPSeal Connector
TE Connectivity Amp Electrical Connectors-AMPSEAL Connectors come in different sizes to fit vehicle parts in tough conditions, such as 8Way, 14Way, 23Way, and 35Way. With their durable construction and high-quality materials, they offer protection against moisture, dirt, and other environmental factors, ensuring reliability and performance.
Two PCB mount orientations exist: Right Angle and Vertical. These orientations help the connectors fit into various vehicle interiors. They also provide flexible options for integrating important systems such as engines, transmissions, and control units.

• Accepts contact size 1.3 mm (up to 17 amps gold, up to 8 amps tin)

How to crimp AMPseal connector?
Check that the wedge lock is open or partially installed, and the product has no defects.
Insert the crimped terminals and seal plug from the back of the connector.
Push the wedge lock into the locked position, to keep the flush with housing.
How to remove an Ampseal connector?
Use a flat screwdrive to lift wedge lock tab up.
While rotating the wire back and forth over a half turn (1/4 turn in each direction), gently pull the wire until the contact is removed.
